Welcome! I'm the "JULES" of this particular venture - a writer and artist based in the Seattle area.
Born and raised against the verdant backdrop of the Pacific Northwest, exploring was my birthright. The ferns and fir trees of my childhood planted seeds of wanderlust in my soul that blossomed into ancient cities, snowy mountain tops, and lush vineyards as I grew into adulthood.
Curiosity tends to get the better of me - I want to know what's around the next corner, why that wine tastes of berries, earth, crushed rock, how to make the crispiest skin on a roast chicken, the reason why an artist chose that color, what it's like to swim in a cave lake, and what makes people feel loved and connected in all parts of the world.
Like most humans on this planet, I have many titles. Daughter, mother, woman, artist, writer, friend, cook, gardener, photographer, musician, technical analyst (just kidding...still reading?).
Things I love: wine, raspberries, oysters, skiing, color, chocolate, vinegar, mountains, tequila, octopus, white sheets, hummingbirds, hammocks, salt
I'm a water baby - boats, beaches, bays, just look for my splash. But above all, this girl is a wanderer dying to know what's around the next bend in the road. Just a little further.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.
